Nature of Project – Restoration and extension of the original listed Manor House, currently operating as a Hotel, including provision of additional 65 hotel rooms and associated leisure and conference facilities..

DETAILED PROJECT DESCRIPTION –
The project involves the design of 38 high quality apartments on a sensitive site in a Registered Park containing Grade II* listed buildings and structures. The design ensures that all apartments have lake views, which is a key feature in the Victorian Pleasure Garden. In addition affordable housing using the local vernacular was situated adjacent to the original listed main gates houses of the estate, located at the heart of the original village. An extension to the existing Grade II* Listed country house hotel was also included as part of the development.All of the above were brought together within a Master Plan, which included the restoration of the historic parkland, being brought together in a Management Plan required as part of the Section 106 negotiations. .
