DETAILED PROJECT DESCRIPTION –
Our challenge with this development was to produce a mixed-use building that sits comfortably in a street dominated by 19th century industrial structures. This was achieved through the careful use of high-quality traditional and contemporary materials and construction techniques and was developed from a previously approved scheme on the site.
Detailed computer modelling was used to overcome daylighting problems associated with a tight urban site and to maximise the amount of saleable accommodation within a strictly defined envelope.
